Project Overview

The City of Highland Park acquired a decommissioned sewerage pump house from the former North Shore Sanitary District. The pump house was converted into a living quarters that City staff could rent. As time passed, the structure became vacant and went into a state of disrepair. This project consisted of the demolition, removal, site restoration and ancillary work associated with the non-operational Sanitary Sewerage Treatment Building located within the 14 acre Millard Park in the City of Highland Park. The site restoration included the creation of a sand dune.
